what is exilis?
The latest weapon in our anti-aging and body sculpting arsenal is EXILIS ULTRA 360, a technology that uses radiofrequency waves and ultrasound to simultaneously tighten skin and reduce fat. Heat from the radiofrequency waves and ultrasound stimulate collagen for a tauter, smoother skin, and at the same time targets fat cells virtually anywhere on the body.

WHAT TO EXPECT
During an EXILIS session, you will feel a sensation of heat as the RF waves target your deep skin tissue to melt away fat cells, tighten the elastin fibers, and stimulate collagen production. The EXILIS device has a built-in cooling mechanism that will keep the heat from becoming unbearable. Most patients find EXILIS to be comfortable, with the heat sensation described as a “hot stone massage.”
EXILIS sessions generally take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the areas to be treated. There is no recovery time necessary, so you can return to your everyday life immediately following a session.
Multiple EXILIS sessions are needed in order to achieve full results. The number of treatments will vary depending on the individual, but generally, four to six treatments are recommended. While multiple sessions are needed to see full results, these results are long-lasting. If you follow post-treatment instructions and lead a healthy lifestyle, EXILIS results will last for years.
EXILIS is extremely safe and has almost no side effects. In some instances, a patient may experience some minor redness and irritation in the area which was treated, which subsides with one to two hours. When performed by expertly trained technicians, side effects are very rare.

EXILIS ULTRA can also be used in conjunction with other procedures in order to achieve fuller, more comprehensive results. If you want skin tightening along with body contouring, or firmer skin combined with wrinkle reduction or evening of skin tone or texture, EXILIS is a good option to use in combination with other treatments such as lasers, dermal fillers, or other body sculpting procedures such as our SculpSure Laser.
