What's the difference between Diamond Dermabrasion & Crystal Dermabrasion?

The crystal method works by an ablation process, which eliminates the dead skin cells with the use of heat and friction. This system is similar to sand blasting dead skin cells off your face. Diamond dermal infusion works by means of abrasion, a process by which the layers of dead skin cells are sanded away. Diamond wands are laser-cut for proper spacing and precision. Of the two, diamond dermal infusion is considered four times more powerful, gentler on the skin, and less risky. Both systems suction off the dead skin cells and other skin debris.

What can I expect from treatment?

Each Diamond Glow treatment session takes an average of 20 minutes to complete. The number of treatments you need varies depending on your skin condition. Typically, patients go through 4-6 sessions spaced anywhere from 7-10 days apart. Most of our patients do not feel any pain and are completely relaxed during the whole procedure. There is absolutely zero downtime and you can return to your daily activities right after treatment. Most patients feel and see significant results after their Diamond Glow treatment. For optimal results and maintenance, we recommend using sunscreen, hydrating cream, serums, and moisturizers, which we will recommend for you.

Are there side effects?

Diamond Glow patients experience no side effects. After each treatment, your skin may feel warm and look pinkish, but it usually fades away after half an hour and your skin will immediately look healthy and rejuvenated.
