Woman touching her face after Juvéderm Vollure treatment

Juvéderm Vollure is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler designed to treat the nasolabial folds, which are the parentheses around the mouth. Vollure is the most effective dermal filler on the market for the mid-face because it is made using VYCROSS® technology. Results can last up to 18 months.

Juvéderm Vollure smooths moderate to severe lines and wrinkles around the mouth and nose by temporarily adding volume. The filler is injected deep into the facial tissue to deliver subtle yet remarkable results. At New Skin & Body, we pride ourselves on providing treatment that gives patients a naturally refreshed look.

faq

Is there anyone who should avoid Juvéderm Vollure?
Vollure may not be right for you if you have: severe allergies with a history of anaphylaxis , multiple severe allergies, or a history of allergies to gram-positive bacterial proteins
Where Can Juvéderm Vollure Be Used?
The filler is typically used to smooth folds and wrinkles around the mouth area, also called nasolabial folds. Off-label use can include targeting the perioral lines, lips, jawline, chin, and temples. An experienced provider will assess the patient’s needs and goals to determine where best to inject the filler.
Are The Injections Painful?
Although patients may experience some discomfort during and after the injections, if they’ve received a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment area, they shouldn’t experience any injection site pain. Treatment typically only causes minimal discomfort. During the injections, patients can expect to feel some pressure, but not pain. The injected area may also feel heavy. The patient may also hear popping or crunching sounds as the needle passes through the various facial tissues.
How Long Does The Appointment Take?
Typically, when you begin BOTOX injections you will need to repeat the process every three to four months. Patients report that with repeated injections they can go longer in between treatments. Some patients have their BOTOX injections once per year because they have been getting this highly effective wrinkle treatment on a regular basis.
How Long Does Juvéderm Vollure Last?
Though fillers aren’t permanent, they can last for a long time — up to 18 months. Patients will see immediate results. Over time, however, the product is naturally broken down and absorbed by the body. Patients will need touch-up injections to maintain their desired look. The good news is that regular touch-ups require less material — about half the amount of the initial injection.
