Woman touching her face after Restylane Refyne treatment

Restylane Refyne is a dermal filler that uses XpresHAn Technology to treat moderate to severe facial lines such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines. The filler was designed to give patients a younger appearance without altering their ability to make facial expressions.

With age, the skin loses elasticity. This can cause lines to form along the sides of the mouth running from the nose towards the corners of the mouth. Restylane Refyne helps correct these lines to restore a younger, more natural appearance. The unique cross-linking of the gel in Restylane Refyne is designed to help patients keep their natural expression — whether they’re smiling, frowning, or puckering up.

Results of one treatment should last up to 12 months.

faq

how do I know if I'm a candidate?
To determine whether a patient is a good candidate for Restylane Refyne, the specialist will review their medical history and ask questions about possible allergies. Patients should tell their specialist about severe allergies with a history of severe reactions (anaphylaxis) or allergy to the anesthetic lidocaine or to any of the proteins used to make the hyaluronic acid in Restylane Refyne. Before the treatment, patients should ask questions about the filler and discuss treatment goals and expectations.
what should I expect during the treatment?
The specialist will begin the treatment by administering the first injection, then pause to allow the anesthetic to continue to numb the area around the injection site. (The lidocaine in Restylane Refyne helps to significantly reduce the pain and discomfort that may occur during a dermal filler injection.) The specialist will administer the additional injections of Restylane Refyne until the treatment area shows the desired results. The specialist then finishes the treatment by gently massaging the treatment area to ensure even distribution of the filler.
are there any side effects?
Treatment with Restylane Refyne is very safe, with mild side effects at the injection site. These side effects may include bruising, redness, swelling, itching, pain, tenderness, and lumps and bumps. All side effects should resolve within one to two weeks.
